Hi, welcome to Sket Dance Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Yūsuke Fujisaki page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Lynxian (Talk) 07:17, January 9, 2011

Hi, I'm Taka, a new Admin here at Sket Dance Wikia. I just wanted to see if you respond back. I need a teammate here in this community. Right now, my daily role is to do the weekly reports, help the other wiki editors with the episodes, and enforce the fair use rationale polices. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Removal of Adminship

Dear Cococrash11, I'm going to ask you if you're able to commit yourself to the Wikia. If you are not able to, I will have to contact staff or Lynxian to remove your adminship. Don't take it personally. It's just that being an admin means contributing to the Wikia. You haven't done much during the time when the anime was ongoing and we needed help. You did help out when the anime was nearing its end and disappear.

I'm sorry about this.

Unnecessary Spacing

Hey, why do you space between sections. I look at the previous edits to see any difference. I don't see any, and I try viewing it on low and high resolution.

Please stop adding spaces. It's not adding any new information or formatting.

Taka shichea 01:48, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

Sket Dance Wikia Spacing Differences.png

I see your point that spacing makes it easier to read in code form, but the final product looks the same. You can keep spacing as long as you add something new or delete something bad. All I'm doing is helping you look like like a hard working wiki editor who wants to keep his/her admin rights. When people look at your profile, they are wondering why someone with little contribution is an admin.

Please at least leave a status or message that you're busy. I understand that. Lynxian is busy with RL, both Mr.Spark and Utipintar are busy with school, RocketWobbuffet is busy with work, and Balthierfan is busy with Med school and managing another Wikia as an admin. To be a good admin, you need to communicate and be responsive. I didn't want to offend you but to help you.

Taka shichea 16:55, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

Hey Cococrash11, you're still doing the spacing thing. Remember, you can space if you're adding something new. You need to improve your edits.
Taka shichea 21:53, June 14, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, my bad. Sorry about that.
Taka shichea 08:41, June 15, 2013 (UTC)
Just a friendly reminder. When you space, add something new, okay.

British Spelling

May I ask you to please state your opinion on American and British spelling over the March Wiki progress? Thank you. Taka shichea 02:43, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I undo your edit on Akane's page. I violated the rules, and I won't let that happen. It's just that I have not build enough trust for you like I did for my teammates in this community. These past weeks, I been looking at your edits. I should have realized that you making all these spelling checks due to the lack of time outside the community. I thank you for your contributions.

I'm sorry for being cold to you. I leave your edits alone and trust you to make the best decision.

Helpful Suggestions

I noticed you are struggling to find something to edit here in the community. Right now, these are types of edits you have done so far.

  1. Spacing
  2. Changing pronouns to nouns in the first sentence for each section in a character page.
  3. Separating out personality and appearance into sections on character pages.

The above two are pretty useless. For the pronouns, it's implied it's about that character. No one would start talking about Tsubaki in the first sentence of Bossun's personality section. Though, we had reached a conclusion that you can space if you are adding something new and significant to the page. I like number three.

I don't know what's holding you back since you haven't replied at all to me. The thoughts I have are time and confidence in one's writing. If it's time, it's all right since everyone is busy with their lives outside of the community. Like I mentioned earlier, I wanted to see if you're willing to contribute once in a while to show that you deserve to keep your Adminship. Being an Admin means contributing occasionally or watching the site for vandalism.

Here are suggestions for edits:

  • Add chapter pages. I don't mind if the summaries are left blank. Most of these chapters are still in Japanese.
  • Add club pages. I seen Kappaels and the others adding pages that were missing.
  • Summaries for either chapter or episode pages. It doesn't have to be long. In the past, someone proposed writing long summaries. I don't think that's necessary, but I allowed. I only do long summaries for important episodes such as the origin arcs: Switch Off, OniHime, and Happy Birthday.
  • Finding eyecatches - I have a project to collect all the eyecatches. See User blog:Takashichea/Sket Dance Project: Organizing Images by Categories. You're welcome to add eyecatches, images, or create episode galleries.
  • Adding quotes - I can add the refs for you.
  • Expanding character pages - If you have problem with grammar, I, Mr.Spark, or Balthierfan can help you. I don't mind. I'll do my best.

There are more things out there for improvements. I hope you take on any of these tasks if you have time. Thank you. Taka shichea 00:17, April 26, 2013 (UTC)

Plot Summaries for Episodes and British Spelling

Okay, let's talk on this issue. The situation is that an anonymous editor had typed an incomplete summary with lots of errors such as grammar, capitalization, and wordiness. You wrote over my temporary summary with a tweaked yet faulty mistakes from the anonymous editor. I didn't like that at all. I know my temporary summary was incomplete. I was going to rewrite the whole thing when I had time. In the end, the Embarrassed Girl episode is finished.

I'm going to stop there because I don't want to go overboard over little things and abuse my Admin powers. Next time, let the others and myself handle the plot summaries for the episodes. You're not familiar with the process of how to get them done.

Now for the British and American spelling dispute, I have contacted Lynxian via Twitter to hear her opinion. After listening to Balthierfan and Mr. Spark, I agree with them and let the spelling slide. I don't care if we go with American or British spelling. Taka shichea 04:33, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

What accusation? You clearly copy the anonymous's edit and pasted it with some poor editing. Look at this link here.

Taka shichea 06:21, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

Even if you edit at the same time, the system would have gave you a warning. Plus, the time stamps have a big difference.

Regarding spelling, you did not check the March's wiki progress blog. I didn't want to hurt the British wiki editors' feelings and wanted to let the spelling slide. Taka shichea 07:05, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry to butt in here, but i think Taka's issue is less about the use of British english, and more about how 90% of your edits are changing British>American when it is unnecessary. Balthierfan (talk) 09:55, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I checked your work and used this source.  Hope this helps you.

Taka shichea 02:33, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

You're Improving

I'm glad you are taking my suggestions and adding manga chapters. Though, I don't have all of the raw scans for the recent chapters. My source skips chapters 263 and 264.

Taka shichea 18:22, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

Unknown Manga Titles

I created the manga chapters for the ones we don't have a name. Please don't change the names (IE: Chapter 274) until I get a definite answer. I'm looking around Anime Vice and some of the Wikia sites I worked at to find help to translate those manga titles.

Taka shichea 00:06, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

Well, I made a Wikipedia account and asked Erigu for help after looking at the wiki history. Please see this link. We just got to wait for a confirmation for the names.

As for suggestions, I'm doing a manga marathon to update the manga pages. Most of them don't have manga covers or characters. Since Lynxian updated the infobox, most of the infoboxes on the chapter wiki pages don't have the correct links for previous and now. Plus, the character section is blank since it's a new addition that Lynxian add implemented a year ago. I was too busy with the anime back then.

When you are adding images, don't forget to add the fair use rationale. If you're lost on how to add this, take a look at the manga covers that the others and I have added or just ask me.

{{Fair use rationale
       | Description =
       | Source= Sket Dance
       | Portion=
       | Purpose= Illustrate Articles
       | Resolution= High
       | Replaceability= Only by a higher quality image of the same licensing status
       | Other Information=

{{Fair use|Fair use type}}
For Character's Profile Image:
{{Fair use|character}}
For images placed in episode's snapshot gallery:
{{Fair use|tv-screenshot}}
For manga:
{{Fair use|comic}}

Meanwhile, I'm hunting for the bonus chapters that you added back in May. I have no idea where to find this. I want to read them to add the summary, characters, and manga cover. Taka shichea 09:31, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

Episode Summaries

Please hold off adding headers such as summary or plot for episode summaries unless you're adding them at the same time. My priority is completing Anime Vice's plot summaries for Sket Dance and doing summaries for important episodes in Sket Dance Wikia at the same time. The important episodes are usually origin arcs and episodes that focuses on forging relationships between characters. I have done a majority of episodes between 21 and up to 77. Here is a link to list of episode pages at Anime Vice. I started diving into Sket Dance a bit late. I admit it's a selfish request, but given how small the Sket Dance community is, it's a realistic goal.

Taka shichea 21:47, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

I swear you are like a hawk, fixing my mistakes. I'm okay with that. Right now, it's 2:19AM. I'm rushing these edits.

Kazuki Okuyama's Profile Image Request

Hey Cococrash11, can you get Kazuki Okuyama's profile image? I haven't read the Switch Off arc yet, and I don't want to be spoiled anymore. Oh, don't forget to add the fair use rationale. It should be simple to do.

Breaking the Ice - Tell Me What You Hate About Me

All right, it's time for me to take the lead here since things are going nowhere between us admins. Here is an ice breaker that my peer mentor had me played with him. Back then, I was a mentee, and I didn't get along with him at first. He told me to list all things I hated or find annoying about him. In return, he would tell me what he hate about me, too.

I'll go first. Even though we come so far after our first argument in British and American spelling, I still find your edits a bit annoying, changing pronouns in the first paragraphs or spacing without adding anything new. With the suggestions I gave out, you did took them. I was happy. I realized I was being too nitpicky. None of these edits are not hurting anyone or the rules. Plus, you could be really busy and can only afford to do minor edits. Please let it all out on me. I don't mind if you want to curse at me for harassing you. If you want me to shut up, I'll do it.

I did check your Wikia community work briefly. You had a lot of history with various communities: anime, video gaming, etc. There were a lot of conflicts. I wanted to say I'm sorry for causing you trouble here. This is probably one of the few places you had some peace. I disrupted that peace when I questioned your adminship. I leave the fate of your adminship to you. It's your right. I have no authority over it. It's Lynxian or the staff that have a say in it. In addition, this community needs more than one guardian to watch over it.

It's up to you if you want to play this ice breaker.

Taka shichea 21:25, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

All right, I won't undo your edits anymore. You're right that I am too nitpicky. Sorry about that. I appreciate what you contribute. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you the purpose of this icebreaker. This is for us to settle our differences. It's unorthodox, but it works.

RE: Old Man and Young Man (Last Dance)

I found one name, Ichimaru Ryusei, the old man is a Kaimei High School's new director. I'm not sure if this is the right name.

Taka shichea 00:00, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Don't add him yet until I get a confirmation. Thank you.

Taka shichea 00:01, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I had an impulse and added the two characters. If you find their correct names, go ahead and change them. I'm still looking for their Kanji and Romaji names.

Anime Expo

I'll be out of town on July 5 and 6 for Anime Expo in Los Angeles. I doubt if I get internet access at the motels. Can I ask you to keep an eye on Sket Dance Wikia for me?

Thank you.

Previous Button on Volume Pages

Hey Cococrash11, I never notice this, but the previous button is not appearing. I see it's in the code. Do you know how to make it appear? I'm not good with coding.

Taka shichea 00:43, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

I think fix the problem. Can you double check my work, teammate? Taka shichea 17:36, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

Don't worry, I think I got it. What I did was add these two components:

{{!}}-valign="top" width="40%"}}
{{#if:{{{previousvolume<includeonly>|</includeonly>}}} |{{!}}'''Previous'''

|previousvolume =

I'll try to fix the rest of the volumes after work tomorrow. See ya then. Taka shichea 08:37, August 3, 2013 (UTC)

Native Speaker

Judging from your wiki contributions and the way you speak, I'm guessing you're not a native English speaker. It's okay, I'm not one either. I moved to the US when I was in middle school or so. If you're struggling with checking my work, you can always ask me or Balthierfan. I'm not good with English. It's my biggest weakness, but I always try to look it up or ask others. I ask Balthierfan for help several times, rewording things or grammar checks.

offspring (plural offspring or offsprings)

  1. A person's daughter(s) and/or son(s); a person's children.
  2. All a person's descendants, including further generations.
  3. An animal or plant's progeny, an animal or plant's young.
    • 2013 May-June, Katrina G. Claw, “Rapid Evolution in Eggs and Sperm”, American Scientist, volume 101, number 3:
In plants, the ability to recognize self from nonself plays an important role in fertilization, because self-fertilization will result in less diverse offspring than fertilization with pollen from another individual.
  4. (figuratively) Another produce, result of an entity's efforts.
Artists often treasure their works as their immortal offspring.
  5. (computing) A process launched by another process.

Usage notes

  • The form offsprings is also used for the plural, especially the computing sense.

I think I know your process of spell checking. You use the red underline to find errors. Sometimes, it doesn't work all the time. I will double check my work. Taka shichea 08:34, August 28, 2013 (UTC)

Hime to Himeko

Sorry, I didn't read the translation notes in the wiki manual closely. I'll fix everything. Oh, make sure you check up on plagiarism in the Kenichi Wikia. I'm a wiki editor at Anime Vice, but I don't add word for word articles to Sket Dance Wikia from Anime Vice and vice versa. Everything I do is original. Though, it takes a lot of work to reword it because I'm not good at English and my vocabulary is limited. Sometimes, I ask others to reword sections that I'm struggling with.

If you need help or questions, please ask. I'm not alienating you or harassing you. I'm trying to improve our relationship here for the sake of the community. Taka shichea 17:51, September 25, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for telling me. I'll watch the community. Same here. I'm busy with school. I'm working once a week during the weekends if I can. Taka shichea 07:55, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

Good luck in your endeavors.

Taka shichea 07:58, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

How Many Wikia Communities?

Taking into account of your deep bonds with Lynxian and FOMA, I just need to check how many Wikia Communities that you are working currently. I noticed you made a new admin at History's Strongest Disciple. For me, it's just three: Sket Dance, Btooom, and Rave Master. In addition, I have Anime Vice, being a moderator over there.

Information from Toriko Wikia

You created the J-Stars Victory page, but you copied information from Toriko Wikia. You can't do that. For news blogs, you can cite the article. This is a warning. Please don't plagiarized other Wikia sites. I'm going to reword it.

J-Stars Victory Vs is an upcoming action tag team fighting game that acts as a crossover between characters from the many manga universes of Shonen Jump. The game is meant to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Shonen Jump.

Don't undo my message, Cococrash11. I don't tolerate plagiarism.

Taka shichea 03:49, November 21, 2013 (UTC)

It is still plagiarism. If the other Wikias do it, let them. It's not our business. Sket Dance Wikia is different from them. I have been a victim of plagiarism. I'm not going to let our pages be tainted by plagiarism.

Taka shichea 03:52, November 21, 2013 (UTC)

Plus, I don't violate the rules and undo others' messages without permission. Do you understand? Taka shichea 03:55, November 21, 2013 (UTC)

Removal of Messages

Messages are not supposed to remove by others. You need to have permission. I'm politely saying no to your request. I don't remove other people's messages on my wall. Same goes for everyone.

Taka shichea 04:00, November 21, 2013 (UTC)

Here are the rules

Don't plagiarize content
If you are bringing content to Wikia or taking it from here (or to another wiki), please remember to cite the authors properly. Don't assume that everything on the Internet is open for the taking. Make sure you have permission to use something before you copy it, and follow the rules for attribution when you do reuse. Everyone likes credit for their hard work!

Zelda Wikia

I hate to bring up something from your past. When you were a wiki editor at Zelda Wikia, you plagiarized a page. It's supposed to be a reminder for you. You're an Admin of this community. You're supposed to be a role model for the editors. I don't plagiarized my wiki pages. I worked hard to keep Anime Vice, Magi Wikia, and Sket Dance Wikia pages different. I even asked Balthierfan to help me out.

As for the messages, they are set in stone. I'm sorry that I cannot remove the message. All I did was reword the header. I'm done with this subject. I need to work on other things. Taka shichea 04:34, November 21, 2013 (UTC)

Happy New Year

Happy New Year, Cococrash11! Hope we improve on our relationships. I know we had trouble with each other on plagiarism and minor issues last year. If you have concerns, just let me know. You were pretty quiet and interact with our teammates the least. Taka shichea 01:46, January 2, 2014 (UTC)
