Takako Shimada (島田 貴子 Shimada Takako) is Kaimei High School's main reporter who writes articles for the school newspaper.
Appearance[]
Takako has neck-length brown hair that is parted in the middle with a bang hanging on the left side and brown eyes.
Personality[]
Takako is dedicated news reporter who looks for news articles to help her fellow classmates. At first, she is lonely when no one read her paper until Reiko appears. With Rumi by her side, she has more motivation to write the best articles for her school.
Relationships[]
Reiko Yuki[]
Takako becomes friends with Reiko when Reiko is one of the only ones interested in reading the school newspaper. After Takako picks up that Reiko is interested in the supernatural, Takako quickly makes up the rumor behind the ghost of the incinerator in order to boost ratings. Though, her plans backfires when Switch and Bossun uncovers the truth.
After the incident, Reiko forgives Takako.
Etymology[]
- The name Takako means "valuable" (貴) (taka) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Takako's surname Shimada means "island" (島) (shima) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
